A heartfelt thank you to our clients and friends for sharing the journey with us.
“Give the world the best that you have and the best will come back to you.” That beautiful quote from Madeline Bridges captures the original spirit and intent that launched the Mark David Corporation thirty years ago this month. And believe me, those words are just as relevant today as they were in the very beginning.
Thirty years . . . 360 months . . . 1,440 weeks . . . 10,080 days. Looking back on that big chunk of time, there ‘s one statistic that I’m especially proud which I think speaks for itself: Many of the clients who came to the Mark David Company in the early years are STILL with us today.
If I had to pick one word to explain that kind of mutual loyalty and longevity it would probably be “constancy.” The word constancy comes from the Latin ‘constancia’ which means to “to stand together.” There you have it: If you “stand together” with your clients through thick and thin—regardless of an ever-changing world or marketplace—chances are you’ll learn to trust each other again and again, year after year.
Another thing that has remained the same over the past three decades is our definition of success. It may sound corny, but we truly believe that success is measured more by what we give to our clients, rather than what we get. To put it another way, our mission is to help you and your company achieve your mission. If we can help you turn your dreams into goals, your goals into plans, and your plans into real and enduring success—then that’s success for us too.
From all of us here at Mark David, thank you so much for being such an integral part of our story over the past 30 years. We look forward to the next chapter. As Robert Browning put it, “The best is yet to be.”
